Products and services

Do you offer a timber cutting service?

Most of our branches offer timber that’s been machined to specific sizes or cut to your requirements, including cross cutting to your preferred length or thickness - please contact your local branch to check our cutting service availability. Our carcassing timber is available in any size between 2.4m and 7.8m – if you need an unusual size for your project please let us know in advance so that we can prepare the materials for you.

I can’t see what I need online – how can I check stock?

We stock an extensive range of timber and building materials across our branches in London and the South East. If you are not sure of your nearest branch please use our Branch Finder and then give your nearest branch a call to check stock.

Do you supply to the public?

Yes. We welcome the public, as well as trade customers.

Payment

Can I open an account with Lawsons?

Yes. We like to reward the loyalty of all of our clients and therefore we can offer you the chance to open a credit account with us for all products and services. We also have a brand new system which allows you to access your Lawsons account, view your orders and make payments online on any device.

Can I get a VAT receipt?

Yes, all of our branches and online orders provide VAT receipts

Which cards do you accept?

We accept Visa, Mastercard, Delta, Switch and Solo.

Delivery

How quickly can you deliver?

We operate a delivery service from each of our branches, and aim to deliver your materials within 2-5 working days, sometimes, if ordered early enough, we may be able to deliver the following day

Do you charge for delivery?

All orders placed online are subject to a £17.50+VAT charge as long as they are within our normal delivery areas. Outside these areas will incur extra costs. To check the delivery areas we cover please speak to one of our sales team at your selected branch and they will be more than happy to help.

Will the delivery driver carry the goods to where they are needed?

Depending on the size and weight of the materials being delivered, this isn’t always possible. All goods are off loaded to the kerbside or front of property. However, our delivery drivers will endeavour to do all they can to make things as easy as possible for you. For specific requirements please speak to one of our sales team at your selected branch and they will be more than happy to help.

Can I collect?
