The Norfolk Apex Shed has the advantage of a door with a lock, full tongue and grooved timber floor and roof, thick 12mm cladding, and is constructed using solid 45x34mm timber framing to ensure a long life. It is factory treated and stained with a water-based red cedar colour treatment, and supplied with heavy 20kg roofing felt, glass, trims and all fixings required for installation.
Apex roofs have a central ridge that slopes on either side. (Apex sheds are different from Pent Garden Sheds, which feature a single rear sloping roof.) The high roofline is ideal for storage; longer and taller items will fit easily into these sheds, and there is additional headroom. The sloping Apex roof guides rainwater to the ground on either side of the central ridge, which prevents it from gathering in puddles at the top.
Apex Garden sheds have a classic, symmetrical design and its traditional look appeals to many homeowners. Lawsons uses thicker than average timber for sturdy, solid garden buildings that last for decades.
