Cultivating confidence

SweetTree Fields Farm is a community farm in North London that provides positive, therapeutic experiences for children and adults within a safe, nurturing and social environment. It offers activities ranging from gardening and horticulture to woodwork and animal care, suitable for people of all ages and abilities.

For the last 14 years Lawsons has proudly been supporting SweetTree Fields Farm, donating materials such as timber and fence panels to allow the farm to grow and improve their facilities.

To recognise Lawsons’ support, SweetTree has recently established a new tree nursery at SweetTree Fields Farm, which was officially opened this month by Barnet mayor Cllr Alison Moore. The farm offers a specially-designed therapeutic environment for its clients, known as co-farmers – to help them gain therapeutic benefits by acquiring the skills and knowledge needed to work with animals and in horticultural settings.

We’re thrilled to play a role in helping to regenerate the farm’s seven-acre woodland, as well as providing tree stock for local communal facilities such as parks, schools and council-run properties.
