Railway sleepers usually weigh between 20kg and 35kg per metre so, for example a 2.4m softwood one is around 50kg, which can make them awkward to collect (especially if you’re not a trade customer with a van). That’s why Lawsons offer delivery on all of our railway sleepers. There is no minimum order charge and you can buy them over the phone!
