Specifications

  • Not recommended for use in septic tanks.
  • Not suitable for waste fittings or pipework, basins, baths, showers and kitchen sinks.
  • This product will not be sold to individuals under the age of 18.

Information

  • Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) such as chemical resistant gloves, overalls and eye/faceprotection to protect against splashes. If in doubt, speak to your PPE supplier and show them this label/product, or call us for further advice.
  • Avoid breathing fumes. Spirits of Salt is corrosive to most common metals including enamelled and stainless steel surfaces. Avoid direct contact with chrome fittings such as plug holes, toilet seat fittings etc.
  • For most applications use about 500ml. Allow to work for 10-20 minutes only, then wash down with copious amounts of water.
  • For some applications, a plastic funnel may be the most effective way of introducing Spiritsof Salt direct to the point of treatment.
