Nationwide Pallet Delivery
Bury Hill Landscape Supplies (BHLS) supplies and fulfils these products on our behalf. Orders requiring nationwide pallet delivery will be dispatched directly by Bury Hill using their approved national pallet distribution network.
Bulk bag and small handy bag orders outside Bury Hill’s local delivery area are delivered on a standard non-returnable timber pallet.
BHLS Nationwide Pallet Deliveries
Bury Hill offers 3 Day and Next Day nationwide pallet delivery services. Deliveries are generally made using an 18 tonne pallet delivery vehicle with tail-lift offload.
Where access is restricted, many delivery depots may be able to provide a smaller 7.5 tonne vehicle. If you require a smaller vehicle, please request this in the order notes at checkout. Availability cannot always be guaranteed and may depend on the delivering depot.
It is important to ensure that your delivery address can safely accommodate the delivery vehicle. Customers may be responsible for costs resulting from a failed delivery where suitable access has not been provided. Please refer to our Terms & Conditions of Sale.
Unless a smaller 7.5 tonne vehicle has been requested and confirmed, customers should expect delivery to be made using an 18 tonne pallet delivery vehicle.
As a general guide, if a standard-sized refuse collection vehicle or bin lorry can safely access your property, an 18 tonne pallet delivery vehicle should normally be able to do so.
Please review the important delivery information below before placing your order.
Important Delivery Information
- Access to the delivery location must be via suitable hard-surfaced roads which the delivery vehicle can use without causing or sustaining damage. Access must also be clear of low bridges, weight restrictions, low overhead cables and overhanging trees.
- Please provide details of any parking or access restrictions at the delivery address, including yellow lines or other restrictions.
- All pallet deliveries are kerbside only.
- To safely operate the vehicle's tail lift and pallet pump truck, unloading must take place onto flat, solid and level ground.
- Pallets cannot be moved over kerbs or across loose, soft or uneven surfaces such as gravel, shingle, cobbles or grass.
- Where a driveway or alternative unloading area is suitably flat, smooth and accessible, the delivery driver will endeavour to position the pallet there where it is safe and practical to do so.
- Delivery drivers cannot move pallets up inclines, along narrow paths or into rear gardens.
- All pallets are non-returnable. Disposal of the pallet is the customer's responsibility.
- If a 7.5 tonne vehicle is required, please be aware that these vehicles can generally carry a maximum of approximately two tonnes. Multiple-pallet orders may therefore need to be delivered separately.
- Some smaller vehicles may have lower-capacity tail lifts which cannot safely unload a full pallet of small bags. In these circumstances, the customer may be required to manually remove some bags before the pallet can be unloaded. For small-bag orders requiring a smaller vehicle, Bury Hill recommends ordering a maximum of 30 bags per pallet.
- Please provide an accurate email address and telephone number when ordering so that Bury Hill or the delivery carrier can contact you if required.
- Wherever possible, someone should be available to inspect and sign for the goods when they are delivered. Where no one is available and delivery can safely be completed, the driver may sign for the delivery on the customer's behalf.
