WHAT DOES A TYPICAL DAY IN THIS ROLE LOOK LIKE?

No two days will be similar! We strive to make work as diverse & interesting as possible. However, we also like a methodical, accountable & purpose-driven structure approach to work. A typical day for you is likely to involve:

  • Proactively chasing sales opportunities and developing relationships with both new and existing customers. You will create a friendly and welcoming environment that encourages return custom, to enable branch sales and margin growth.
  • Help to achieve branch sales, margins and gross profit targets.
  • Respond positively and effectively to customers’ needs
  • Build rapport and be polite and courteous to customers
  • Source materials needed to meet customers’ requirements
  • Agree best possible margin when negotiating with customers in line with budgets and KPI’s
  • Ensure stock levels are maintained and stock is merchandised
  • Cultivate and maintain excellent customer service standards
  • Deal with customers complaints effectively and pleasantly


WHAT CAN YOU BRING TO THE TABLE?

  • You have proven experience working in a similar role, ideally in our sector although similar sectors will be considered.
  • Excellent IT skills
  • You are a naturally positive & friendly individual with the right attitude to match
  • You ae prepared to learn and develop in-depth knowledge of our products
  • You proudly adhere to our codes on professionalism  & high standards
