Telephone Sales Person - Loft Department
Lawsons Loft Sales Department, based at Whetstone N20, are looking to recruit an experienced and highly motivated Salesperson.
As a Salesperson, you will contribute to the sales and margin targets of the branch and will provide a high standard of customer service.
The successful candidate must have a proven track record in supplying building materials and will be expected to conduct site surveys via Google, price and process steel orders and have excellent customer service skills.
This is a demanding position in an extremely busy sales department requiring determination and a positive attitude.
Key Task Requirement:
- Continually projecting and promoting the company image of service and quality.
- Contribute to the sales and margin targets of the branch and meet KPI targets.
- Develop and maintain productive and profitable customer relationships.
- Skilful negotiating at all levels to promote and secure sales.
- Dealing with queries and complaints effectively and pleasantly.
- Provide or arrange technical advice when requested.
- Take specific responsibilities for administrative paperwork.

- Extensive Roofing Product knowledge
- Good General Building and Timber Product knowledge
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Confident negotiation skills
- Proactive and enthusiastic, with an aptitude to achieve objectives and targets
- Kerridge skills preferred, or similar Merchant system skills essential
- MS Office skills
- Good at working under pressure and to deadlines, with ability to multi task
- All round Team Player
