Stock Controller - Camden

The Role
Creating a friendly and welcoming environment by direct approach that encourages return custom to enable branch sales and margin growth.
Key Accountabilities…
- Ensuring Lawsons Best Practice, Standards and Company Policies are met
- Maintaining a stock range that meets customer demands and expectations and at appropriate seasonal levels
- Ensuring that we purchase from approved suppliers at the best rate possible
- Meeting Stock Control targets (re overstocking, stock accuracy, damaged stock and stock turn) as set for the branch
- Ensuring Stock deliveries are scheduled evenly throughout the week
- Maintaining and controlling the Branch Stock File, resolve outstanding IBT s and Returns To Supplier and any outstanding Purchase orders on a regular basis
- Taking full responsibility for all branch stocktakes and stock bin locations
- Complying with company audit requirements relevant to your department
- Walking the yard daily
