Loft Lifter Driver - Colney Heath Branch
Lawsons Colney Heath branch are looking to recruit a Loft Lifter HGV Driver. This is a full time, permanent position.
We have been supplying the complete loft material package to the loft conversion market since the 1990’s. Our specialist fleet of Loft Lifter vehicles enables us to supply loft materials, on lorries mounted with long reach cranes, that can deliver materials straight to roof level scaffolding
As a Driver for the company, you will provide a first-class delivery service, whilst projecting an efficient and conscientious company image.
Key Task Requirements
- Continually projecting and promoting the company image of service and quality
- Assist with loading both own and other company vehicles efficiently and safely.
- Check for load safety and security and conformity with the Law.
- Scheduling journeys effectively and delivering materials in accordance with instructions from Management.
- Unload customers materials on site efficiently and safely.
- Ensure company payment procedures are correctly carried out when instructed to collect payment from site.
- Report all customer service issues accurately and promptly to Management.
- Daily and weekly vehicle checks to be submitted to Management.

Key Skill Requirements
- Hold a valid appropriate licence
- Hold a Digital Tachograph
- CPC Card
- Comfortable working at heights
- Reasonable level of fitness
- Enthusiastic approach to work
- Courteous to other road users and drive in accordance with the Law
- Be polite and courteous to customers and other road users
- Relate to co-workers in a supportive manner
- The ability to work under pressure
- Be vigilant at all times for safety hazards and to prevent theft or damage to stock and products
The successful candidate will undergo ALLMI and specialist training designed to enable them to attain the high level of proficiency required with this job role.
