Lawsons Timber is taking part in Macmillan Cancer Support flagship fundraising event, the World's Biggest Coffee Morning and helping the charity to raise over £10.7m - by drinking coffee and eating cake.

Planning for the London Olympics

The Olympic and Paralympic Games are being held in London from 27th July to 9th September.

During this time, you'd expect traffic in London to be much busier than normal and like many forward thinking businesses, Lawsons have taken steps to minimise the disruption to our customers over this period.

Lawsons Raise In Excess Of £50,000 For Macmillan Cancer Support

Lawsons Timber, Building & Fencing Supplies were founded by the great grandfather of current chairman Simon Lawson in 1921 and are still family owned today.

Lawsons celebrated its 90th year of trading in 2011. The theme throughout the year was to organise a number of fund-raising events in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support

Lifetime Achievement Award

We were delighted to win the prestigious Award for being "Best Independent Builder's Merchant" 2009/10 - High praise indeed from our peers in the industry.

However, to top this accolade in the following year, John Lawson was recognised for his immense work in our industry over his long career and was awarded the main prize "Lifetime Achievement Award". Only the 9th ever winner of this Award!
